Workstation Cranes are lightweight bridge cranes that cover a rectangular workspace. The O’Brien met-track workstation bridge crane is a pre-engineered modular crane that allows for easy relocation or expansion by simply adding runway sections and additional bridges.
Our workstation crane designs include freestanding floor-mounted and ceiling-mounted options.
Workstation cranes are most suitable for operations that require precise, repetitive movements. They are an ergonomic and cost-effective option that does not require the additional structural investments sometimes associated with overhead cranes.

Ceiling mounted systems are ideal when floor space is limited or access by other equipment is required where floor support steel would normally be needed. This option does require that the support structure is suitable for the loads imposed.
