Warehouse Associate & Driver
Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate and Driver at Equipment World’s Rental Division, where you'll be hands-on with a wide range of rental equipment, from forklifts to skid-steers, and play a key role in ensuring every piece is rental-ready and meets our high standards.
As a Warehouse Associate and Driver for Equipment World's Rental Division, your main responsibilities would be the organization and preparation of our wide range or rental equipment. From forklifts to generators, Aerial lifts to skid-steers, you will be operating, cleaning and assisting with routine maintenance to ensure rental ready product.
Responsibilities:
- Assist retrieving, loading and unloading of equipment
- Perform pre-delivery inspections on all equipment and test all functions before and after rental
- Perform post-rental inspections using inspection forms and follow-up on any damage, problems or customer charge-back
- Document any damages and coordinate repair with service department
- Provide operators with orientation on any equipment as required
- Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations and solve problems
- Maintain clean and orderly warehouse and yard (including snow removal on entrances and walkways)
- Track rental equipment and ensure all equipment is properly prepared and presented
- Drive truck, trailer and tow behind vehicles. Delivering to customer sites and abiding by CVOR procedures
- Ensure proper loading and tie down for transporting of our inventory
- Take an active role in Health and Safety initiatives for yourself and warehouse team
- Applicants should be physically fit with ability to lift 25-50 lbs, have good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- A good working knowledge and/or experience working with large and small equipment is a strong asset.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge
- Commercial driving experience
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in heavy lifting

- Experience in handling freight
- Ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment
Starting Wage - $20 - 24.00/hr
